EVALUASI BIAYA PROYEK WANAGON AKIBAT COVID-19

Abstract


Melemahnya harga tembaga akibat Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan efek negatif yang sangat signifikan terhadap revenue PT Freeport Indonesia. Harga tembaga sempat berada di bawah USD 2.20/lbs di bulan Maret 2020. Revenue PT Freeport Indonesia di tahun 2020 diperkirakan akan berkurang dengan melemahnya harga tembaga  tersebut. Hal ini mengakibatkan anggaran tahun 2020 untuk proyek Wanagon di Grasberg  juga berkurang. Proyek Wanagon adalah proyek stabilisasi lereng jangka panjang di Grasberg dengan total nilai anggaran sekitar USD700 juta, dan direncanakan selesai di tahun 2024. Perencanaan dan operasional Proyek Wanagon haruslah dilakukan dengan cara yang lebih efektif dan efisien sebagai bagian dari evaluasi biaya Proyek Wanagon.
